26.04.2020 க்கு முன்னர் பணியில் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் அவர்கள் வழக்கமாக ஒப்படைப்பு செய்த தேதியில் ஒப்படைப்பு செய்யலாம்.

26.04.2020 க்கு முன்னர் பணியில் சேர்ந்து இதுவரை ஒப்படைப்பு செய்யாதவர்கள் 01.10.2025 முதல் அவர்கள் ஊதிய உயர்வு மாதத்தில் 15 ஆம் தேதிக்குள் ஒப்படைப்பு செய்யலாம்.

Sir/Madam,

Sub: Fundamental Rules Tamil Nadu Leave Rules, 1933 System of Perfodical Surrender of Eamed Leave for encashment to the Government Employees and Teachers -Restored-Orders-Issued-Clarifications-Issued.

Ref: G.O.(Ms) No.35, Human Resources Management (FR.III) Department, dated 30.06.2025.

In the Government Order cited, orders were Issued restoring the Eamed Leave surrender system with effect from 01.10.2025 and allowing the Govemment Servant and Teachers to encash the Earned Leave for 15 days in a year as per their regular annual cyole according to the dus date prior to the suspension of the facility on 27.04.2020. Further, it has been ordered that the Government Employees who have Joined in service during the period from 27.04.2020 to 30.08.2026, if otherwise eligible, are allowed to encash by surrendering the eamed leave for 15 days from the first day of the quarter in which they have joined as per the schedule given below:-

2. In this regard, it has been requested to clarify with regard to the date of eligibility of earned jaave surrender faollity to the Government Servants who have joined in service on or before 28.04.2020 and who have not even avalled the samed leave surrender facility so far.

3. In continuation of the Government Order in the reference cited, the Government after careful consideration, issue the following clarifications:-

The Government Servants and Teachers who have joined in service on or before 26.04.2020 and who have not avalled the Earned Leave Surrender facility so far, are allowed to encash by surrendering the eamed leave for 15 days from the first day of the quarter in which they have joined, as per the schedule given below, hereafter, if otherwise eligible:-

4. The above clarification is also be applicable to all Constitutional/Statutory Bodles including all State Corporations Local Bodies/ Boards/ Universities/Commissions/Companies/Institutions/Societies, etc.

5. Necessary Amendments will be issued to Rule 7A of the Tamil Nadu Leave Rules separately.

6. This letter issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.11486030/Finance/2025, dated 27.11.2025.
